03.03PPT: Kids Day
It’s Tuesday. Let’s be positive.
In Fresno there’s a yearly event called Kids Day. Volunteers stand at intersections and sell special edition copies of our local newspaper as a fundraiser for Children’s Hospital Central California.
Oddly enough it’s an event I really look forward to each year. It’s great to see people out in force having fun and doing good for their community.
I’m also grateful for the work that goes on at Children’s Hospital. I have family and friends who work there, friends who’ve been admitted there, and I actually spent my first few weeks of life there. I probably wouldn’t be here today without their care!
So, if you live in Fresno, buy a newspaper today. And everybody: be positive!

i told ryan we both had to buy one today since he spent so much time there as a child and young teen. four or five surgeries there in his lifetime. i can only imagine how much time our kids will spend there if we have boys as adventerous as he was!
