Positive Post Tuesday: Par For The Course

I’ve been taking advantage of Brody Harper’s “Positive Post Tuesday” to introduce a few of my friends who have blogs (since I have such extensive readership and all…)

Today’s friend is Blake German. I met Blake while interning at The Bridge’s college group here in Fresno. Drawn to the fact that he shared a last name with my wife (then girlfriend) and that he grew up in Visalia (my place of birth), Blake and I became good friends. If I remember correctly, we truly became friends after a disastrous water skiing trip…

Anyway, Blake works for a local construction firm, supervising a crew as they… well, build stuff I guess. He also runs sound and lighting at The Bridge and has a passion for service (the above photo is from a recent trip he took to Rwanda).

Overall, he’s just a good guy to be around. He speaks his mind on everything, doesn’t care too much about what everyone else thinks, and is constantly searching for ways to draw closer to God. I’m always blessed to spend time with him!

Go send him some love!
